Travel RN – Med Surg / Stepdown | 3x12 Days | Strong Clinical Environment

If you’re a Med Surg nurse with stepdown experience who enjoys caring for higher-acuity patients, this role offers a great opportunity to sharpen your clinical skills in a structured hospital setting.

Job Overview

Specialty: Med Surg / Stepdown RN
Schedule: 3x12s (Day Shift)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Responsibilities

Provide care for Med Surg and intermediate/stepdown patients
Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
Monitor patients with complex conditions
Administer medications and treatments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Ensure safe and effective patient care delivery

Requirements

Active RN license (NC or Compact)
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of current Stepdown/Intermediate care experience
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
