Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (ARRT/RCIS) – Contract
Location: Concord, North Carolina
Facility: Atrium Health Cabarrus
Job Type: Contract
Duration: June 1 – August 29, 2026 (~13 weeks)
Schedule: 40 hours/week | 10-hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Position Overview
Advocate Health Southeast is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (ARRT or RCIS) to support a high-acuity, fast-paced cardiac and vascular lab. This role is ideal for experienced technologists comfortable working across Cath, Vascular, and EP procedures.

Unit Details
- 2 Cath Labs, 1 Vascular Lab, 1 EP Lab
- 12 prep/recovery beds
- Blended lab environment (Cath + Vascular + EP)
Patient Population & Procedures
- STEMI and cardiac emergencies
- PCI, right & left heart caths
- Atrial fibrillation ablations
- Device placements
- Vascular procedures: angiograms, DVT/PE interventions, thrombolytics, EVAR, TAVR
- Complex interventional and diagnostic cases
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac and vascular procedures
- Operate imaging and monitoring equipment
- Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety
- Prepare procedure rooms and equipment
- Support emergency interventions (STEMI, etc.)
- Document procedures using EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 year of Cath Lab experience
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Active credentials at time of submission
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- ARRT or RCIS
Technology & Equipment
- EMR: EPIC
- IV Pumps: Alaris
- Medication Dispensing: Omnicell
- Monitoring: Philips
- Imaging Systems: Siemens, Merge Hemo
Scheduling & Requirements
- 10-hour day shifts starting at 7:00 AM
- Call required (based on department needs)
- Call response: 30 minutes (STEMI), 1 hour (vascular)
- Occasional weekend call coverage
- Travelers expected to work 75% of holidays
- No floating required
