X-Ray Technician / Radiology Technician (Contract)
Position Overview:
The X-Ray Technician / Radiology Technician performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This role collaborates closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure safe, accurate imaging and high-quality patient care.
Assignment Details:
- Modality: X-Ray Tech / Radiology Technician
- Openings: 1
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8s)
- Hours per Week: 40
Minimum Requirements:
- ARRT certification
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist License
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of relevant radiology technician experience preferred
Health & Compliance Requirements:
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- N-95 fit testing completed
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology for accurate radiographic positioning
- Proficiency with radiology equipment and testing
- Understanding of radiation safety, body mechanics, and patient movement
- Ability to work effectively with patients, medical staff, and the public
