Job Title: Radiology Assistant

Unit: Radiation Therapist

Location: White Plains, NY -10601

Schedule: Day Shift | 5 Days/Week | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Duration: 4 Weeks with possible extension

Start Date: 05/25/2026

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Assistant / Radiation Therapist to join a dynamic acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in radiation therapy procedures and be proficient with advanced treatment technologies and charting systems.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the delivery of radiation therapy treatments as prescribed
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including TrueBeam and AlignRT
Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment setup using ARIA system
Monitor patients during procedures and report any changes or concerns
Maintain proper documentation using EPIC charting system
Follow all safety protocols and radiation protection standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
COVID-19 Vaccination (required)
Experience with ARIA, TrueBeam, and AlignRT (required)
