Registered Nurse – Cath Lab (Travel Assignment)

⏳ Contract Length: 13 Weeks
🕒 Shift: 5x8 Days (8-hour shifts)
📞 Call: 7 days/month (non-consecutive), rotating evenings, nights, weekends & holidays

Job Overview:

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join a comprehensive cardiac and vascular procedural team. The facility provides advanced cardiac and peripheral interventions in a high-acuity setting.

The RN will support pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care, including patient monitoring, circulating in the Cath Lab, and assisting with transport and departmental workflow as needed.

Key Procedures:

• Left & Right Heart Cath
• PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy
• Carotid diagnostics & stenting
• Peripheral vascular interventions
• Pacemaker insertions
• Tilt table testing
• Kyphoplasty
• AV graft interventions 

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab RN experience (REQUIRED)
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and hemodynamic systems
• Experience with Cath Lab equipment (IVUS, OCT, atherectomy devices preferred)
• Ability to assist with pre-op and post-op recovery
• Strong critical care and procedural support skills 

Certifications

• ACLS (AHA) – Preferred
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• NIH Stroke Scale – Required
• Oklahoma RN License or Compact License – Required

Additional Details

• Recent traveler experience preferred
• Must be flexible for rotating call schedule
• Applicants within a 50-mile radius of the facility will be considered for this role at lower pay rate.
