ICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position - Ohio, Columbus
Job Details
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse (Critical Care Float Pool)
- Location: Columbus, Ohio
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work as part of a Critical Care Float Pool covering weekend night shifts with flexibility to float across various ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity.
- Units include:
- Neuro ICU
- Surgical ICUs
- Medical ICUs (MICU x2)
- Cardiology/Diagnostics
- CVICU
- SICU / MICU / NCCU
- Float policy requires floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience, with CVICU experience within the last year.
- ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience.
- Current certifications issued by the American Heart Association:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
