Description
Echo Ultrasonographer (Diagnostic Imaging) – Zanesville, Ohio
Position Details
- Employment Type: Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM), 40 hours/week
- Call Requirement: Call every 5th week or more frequently, including evenings and weekends
- Weeknight call back between 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM requires cardiologist approval
- Weekend call back up to 24 hours requires cardiologist approval
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Cardiac Sonographer within the last year
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) designation
- Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Additional Information
- Peer support available with approximately 20 other ultrasonographers on staff
- Facility may cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract; canceled hours are not limited to 12-hour shifts
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and included at submission to be honored
