Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) – Night Shift

Schedule: 12-Hour Nights (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
Facility Type: 25-Bed Critical Access Hospital

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join a small critical access hospital. This role requires a high level of independence, as clinicians will often work solo on shift, managing respiratory care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments (scheduled and PRN)
• Perform EKGs (outpatient, inpatient, and ED)
• Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) draws
• Document and manage charges using Epic EMR
• Respond to patient needs across multiple departments

Equipment & Systems

• Epic computerized charting
• Pyxis medication system
• Standard respiratory and EKG equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required (3–5 years preferred)
• Must be able to work independently
• Certifications/Licensure:
  • NBRC (required)
  • Indiana State License (required)
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NRP

Work Environment

• 25-bed critical access hospital
• No routine call required, but may be contacted on short notice for coverage
• No floating required
• Must be comfortable managing responsibilities independently
