Job Title: Per Diem Occupational Therapist (OT)
Assignment Duration: June 1, 2026 – August 24, 2026
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a per diem basis. The OT will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to develop effective treatment plans
- Design and implement individualized therapy programs to improve daily functional skills
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality care standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the practicing state
- Current BLS certification (if required by facility)
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
