Clinical Dietitian- Previous Experience REQUIRED

• 13 weeks
• First shift, 8.5 hours/day 
• 7:30 am to 4 pm or 8 am to 4:30 pm
• Work schedule Mon-Fri, no weekends, no on-call, and no holidays
• Registered Dietitian required
• Previous work experience in a hospital required
• Able to hit the ground running. A new grad with no work experience, and/or who is not already registered, would barely be trained by the end of 13 weeks.

Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education/experience/licensing:
• Bachelor’s degree in dietetics or food and nutrition with completion of dietetic internship. Master’s degree and membership in Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.
• Completion and maintenance of registration as a dietitian as provided for by the Commission on Dietetic Registration through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Will accept eligibility to complete Registration provided it is completed within 3 months of hire.
• Licensed in state of Ohio to practice dietetics as provided by the Ohio Board of Dietetics.
• One year work experience in hospital setting as RD, LD preferred. Specialty certification in nutrition support, renal, oncology, gerontology or diabetes education desirable.
• Demonstrates competency in the nutritional care of patients including age specific, learning and cultural/religious needs.
• Adheres to the standards of professional practice as defined by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
