⏰ Weekly Hours Breakdown

• Standard Schedule:
  • 36 hours/week (3 shifts × 12 hrs)
  • Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Days)
• Optional High Hours:
  • 48 hours/week (4 shifts × 12 hrs) upon request
  • Overtime kicks in after 52 hrs/week (for 48 hr contracts)
• Orientation:
  • Bi-weekly start dates: 5/4 or 5/18
  • ⚠️ Hours not guaranteed during orientation week

🏥 Unit Snapshot

• Unit Type: Neuro Cardiac Med/Surg Tele (32 beds)
• Patient Ratio:
  • Days: 1:4–5 (rarely 6)
  • Nights: 1:6–7
• Patient Types: Cardiac cath recovery, CVA/TIA, neuro cases, oncology, complex surgeries

🔄 Float Requirements

• First to float within skillset
• Possible locations:
  • Midtown (8 miles)
  • Henderson, KY (11 miles)
• ⏱️ 2-hour notice for cross-campus float

📆 Weekend & Holiday

• 3 weekends every 6 weeks
• Every other holiday

📋 Requirements

• Experience:
  • 2+ years Med/Surg Tele
  • 1 travel assignment
  • Trauma Level II experience
• Certifications:
  • Compact RN License
  • AHA BLS
  • NIHSS
