Requirements
Active Alaska RN License (Required at time of submission)
BLS/BCLS Certification
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum 8 years of clinical/nursing experience
At least 3 years of experience in:
Utilization Review (UR)
Chart Review
Risk Management / Quality Services
Strong knowledge of:
Medical necessity & reimbursement guidelines
ICD-9 / CPT coding basics
CMS regulations
Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
