🏥  ICU Travel RN – Contract Overview

📍 Location Rule
 

⏱️ Weekly Hours & Schedule

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Shift Pattern: 3 × 12-hour shifts
• Shift Timing: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekly Structure Example:
  • Week = 3 working days + 4 days off
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Holiday Rotation: Required

👉 Note: Hours are guaranteed except during orientation week & certain holidays

📉 Low Census / Call Details

• Up to 36 hours per contract may be low census (unpaid)
• Can be placed on-call during low census
• Call is optional to pick up otherwise
• Call-back pay: Minimum 2 hours if called in
• Response Time (if on-call): 1 hour

🔄 Floating Expectations

• Primary: MS ICU + Neuro ICU
• May float to:
  • Other critical care units
  • Other inpatient units (as needed)

🧾 Key Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years (MedSurg + ICU)
• Strong Neuro experience required
• Certifications:
  • WI RN License
  • BLS + ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • CCRN (preferred, not required)

🏥 Unit Snapshot

• 16-bed Medical-Surgical ICU (Level 2 Trauma)
• Patient Ratio: 2:1
• Cases include:
  • Stroke, vents, drips, CRRT
  • Trauma (logging, motorcycle, snowmobile accidents)
• Support Staff: CNAs, LPNs, Clinical Leads

💻 System & Work Environment

• Charting: EPIC preferred
• Looking for nurses who are:
  • Adaptable & resilient
  • Independent and efficient
  • Team-oriented

• Scrubs: Any color
• Flu/COVID Policy: Mask required if vaccines declined (strict policy)
