Description

📌 Job Summary (Travel RN – Med/Surg Telemetry)

Start Date: May 18, 2026 (Hard Start)
End Date: July 12, 2026 (Extension possible based on unit needs)
Duration: ~8 weeks

⏰ Weekly Hours & Schedule

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts
On-Call: Not routine, but may be assigned during low census
Call Response Time: Must be able to report within 1 hour if called in

🏥 Role Overview

Support the unit during Epic go-live transition
Work across Medical Surgical & Telemetry Units
Provide patient care using the full nursing process (assessment → evaluation)
Patient population: Adult, Geriatric, Med/Surg, Telemetry

📋 Requirements

EMR Experience: Cerner + Epic (Required)
Certifications: ACLS (Required)
Pre-Assignment Requirement:
- Self-study Telemetry Strips
- Pass Basic Dysrhythmia Test in the first week (Mandatory to continue in ED)
