Description
• Shift: Nights, 3x12, 1900-0700
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
ALL CONTINGENCY REQUESTS MUST BE ON THE SUBMISSION FORM
• Weekend Hours: As required by facility, every other weekend
• Call Requirements: No call required
• Required Licensure: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.)
• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP
• Preferred Certifications: TNCC, PALS
• Years of Experience: 2 years NICU, Vent competent
• Float Requirements: Nurses will be expected to work in either the NICU, PICU, or Postpartum floor as determined by patient volumes.
Unit Information:
• Number of Beds: 46
• Patient Ratios: Are not guaranteed. NICU 1:3, Ratios are determined by acuity
• Equipment: No specific equipment
• EMR: EPIC
Hiring Profile:
• Must Have Skills/Experience: At least 2 full years of NICU experience
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Prefer 2 years in a NICU level 3 or higher
• Type of Patients on Unit: Premature infants, infants of diabetic mothers, infants with respiratory distress, post date infants, (neonatal patients)
• Personality Fit: flexible and positive
Dress Code:
• Scrub Color: Black, may wear Mercy Kids scrub top with black scrub pant
