Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech
Location: New Jersey
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Details: 10hr Day Shift (40 hours/week) – 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Monday–Thursday (4x10s) | No weekends, no call, no holidays
Job Summary
The Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology procedures. This role requires strong experience in EP lab procedures, patient monitoring, and device support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in electrophysiology procedures including ablations and device implants
- Support Watchman procedures and cardiac device cases
- Monitor patient vitals and cardiac rhythms during procedures
- Prepare and maintain EP lab equipment
- Ensure sterile technique and patient safety
- Collaborate with physicians and EP lab team
Patient Population & Procedures
- Adult cardiac patients
- Procedures include ablations, Watchman implants, and cardiac device procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of EP lab experience – Required
- NJ State License – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- ACLS Certification – Required
- Flu vaccination – Required (no declinations accepted)
Skills Required
- Experience with ablations, Watchman, and cardiac devices
- Strong knowledge of electrophysiology procedures
- Cardiac rhythm monitoring
- EP lab equipment handling
Scheduling Details
- 4x10 hour shifts (Monday–Thursday)
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call requirement
- No holiday requirement
Additional Information
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
