Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) | Night Shift | Harvey, IL

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity, Level I Trauma Center. The RN will provide rapid assessment, critical care, and emergency treatment for patients across all age groups in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid triage and patient assessments in emergency situations
• Provide care for trauma, critical, and acute patients
• Administer medications including emergency IV drugs and sedation
• Start and maintain IV lines and perform phlebotomy
• Monitor and manage patients on ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and cardiac monitors
• Assist with trauma cases including gunshot wounds, head injuries, and critical conditions
• Interpret EKGs and dysrhythmias
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
• Ensure accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Illinois) – Required
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience
• Must have experience in a Level I Trauma Center (urban setting)
• Certifications required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NIHSS
