📌 Job Summary – OR RN (Cardiovascular/Thoracic)
🕒 Shift Details:
- Schedule: 4×10-hour Day shifts
- Timing: 06:30 AM – 05:00 PM
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
- Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks
📅 Start & Experience
- Start Date: ASAP
- Experience Required: 1 year
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted ✅
📞 Call Requirements
- Weekends: On-call only (no regular shifts)
- On-call Commitment:
- 1 weekend/month
- 5 weekday evenings/month
📋 Key Requirements
- Certifications:
- Required: BLS
- Preferred: ACLS, CNOR, PALS, TNCC
- EMR: EPIC (Required)
- Floating: Yes (within similar units – Main OR)
- License: Pending accepted
- Local Candidates: Not accepted
🏥 Unit & Case Types
Strong experience required in:
- Cardiovascular & Thoracic procedures (CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR)
- Minimally invasive cardiac cases
- VATS, RATS, Mediastinoscopy
- Carotid Cutdowns, Pericardial Windows, Tamponade
- Laparoscopic & CVL support
