Registered Nurse – Operating Room (CVOR)
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Duration: 13-week contract (Day shift: 3x12 hrs, 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM)
- Provide nursing care in the Operating Room with focus on cardiovascular surgeries
- Act as a circulator during surgical procedures and maintain sterile environment
- Assist in cardiac, robotic, orthopedic, and general surgeries
- Support conscious sedation and intraoperative patient monitoring
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years OR experience (cardiovascular required)
- BLS certification required
- Travel experience required (no first-time travelers)
- Experience in teaching hospital setting required
- Work Environment:
- Multi-specialty OR (all age groups)
- Call required (cardiovascular call)
- Floating required based on department needs
