A leading medical facility in Newburgh, NY is seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist for an 8‑week assignment beginning 5/11. This role is ideal for a tech with strong MRI experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work independently on evening shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• ARRT (MR) certification
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, protocols, and contrast procedures
• Ability to work a consistent M–F evening shift (4p–12a)
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced imaging environment

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality MRI exams according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning
• Operate MRI equipment and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Screen patients for contraindications and administer contrast per protocol
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff
• Follow all MRI safety standards and infection control procedures
