Description

Job Description – Travel Med/Surg Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN)

Department Overview

This is a Med/Surg Pediatric (MS Peds) unit caring for both adult and pediatric patients. Pediatric experience is strongly preferred, though it can be less recent.

Total Beds: 17 (14 inpatient, 3 observation)
Patient Population: Adults & Pediatrics
Common Diagnoses: UTI, altered mental status, pneumonia, COPD

Shift & Scheduling
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Scheduling: Self-scheduling available
Weekend Requirement: As needed
Holiday Requirement: None

Floating Requirements
May float to ED/ICU for 1:1 patient assignments as needed

Required Certifications
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
