Description
Job Description – Travel Med/Surg Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN)
Department Overview
This is a Med/Surg Pediatric (MS Peds) unit caring for both adult and pediatric patients. Pediatric experience is strongly preferred, though it can be less recent.
- Total Beds: 17 (14 inpatient, 3 observation)
- Patient Population: Adults & Pediatrics
- Common Diagnoses: UTI, altered mental status, pneumonia, COPD
Shift & Scheduling - Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Scheduling: Self-scheduling available
- Weekend Requirement: As needed
- Holiday Requirement: None
Floating Requirements - May float to ED/ICU for 1:1 patient assignments as needed
Required Certifications - BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
