Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set:

Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)

• Over 2+ years of OR experience
• Over 2+ years of Hospital experience
• BLS Required
• ACLS Required
• Travel Experience ONLY – previous experience required

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)

• Meditech experience preferred
• Robotics
• Urology
• General Surgery
• Bariatric Surgery
• Meditech experience preferred

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)

• Active TX RN License – temp license will NOT be accepted

Procedures performed on unit: 

•  Liver, kidney
• kidney pancreas transplants
• Variety of general surgery, robotics, bariatric surgery, ent, opthomalogy, plastic surgery

Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

• Scrub Color

o   RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket

• Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy
• Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
• Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
