ON CALL: Yes – Pager rate $7/hour
Call Back Minimum: 1 hour (all inclusive rate))
Weekend Requirements: 1 24-hour weekend call day every month 
Holiday Coverage: Required

Certification Requirements:

• RCIS preferred.
• BLS required
• ACLS certification preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Cardiac Invasive Technologist preferred with diagnostic and cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures. Must be able to take STEMI on call

Specialized In:

• Assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures as indicated. Able to scrub in diagnostic, cardiac interventional and peripheral procedures.
• Cares for adult and geriatric patients during procedures. Prepares patients for examinations. Functions in all roles: as a case recorder, cardiac circulator and scrub assistant.
• Reports clinical changes in patient condition to the RN or physician.
• May perform point of care testing per CLIA guidelines.
• Appropriately documents all procedures by including labeling and identifying studies, documenting procedure related information in the recording system/medical record and entering charges.
• Performs related duties such as reporting equipment malfunctions, assisting others, special assignments, cleans work area and replenishes supplies.
• .Maintian all standards of performance with sterile procedures and infection prevention.

needs travelers with experience in a Cath Lab-Scrub 3 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday varied as needed (2 Fridays/month) 1 24-hour weekend call day every month 3 weeknight call (730pm-7am) per month 1 summer/1 winter holiday
