Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation (Travel)
Location: Houston, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation
- Role: Physical Therapist
- Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Weekly Hours: 32 hours
- Weekend Requirement: 2 Saturdays per month (8-hour shifts)
- Call: None
- Patient Population: Adult to geriatric
- Patient Ratios: 1 therapist to 4 patients
- Number of Beds: 30
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Neurological, transplant, orthopedic, cardiac, debility
- Equipment Used: Hoyer lift
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): EPIC
- Preferred Skills: Knowledge of GG scoring
- Personality Fit: Flexible
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
- Texas Occupational Therapy License
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year (0 years of experience acceptable)
Additional Information
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required; open-toed shoes and not wearing scrubs are unacceptable
