Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation (Travel)

Location: Houston, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation
Role: Physical Therapist
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 32 hours
Weekend Requirement: 2 Saturdays per month (8-hour shifts)
Call: None
Patient Population: Adult to geriatric
Patient Ratios: 1 therapist to 4 patients
Number of Beds: 30
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Neurological, transplant, orthopedic, cardiac, debility
Equipment Used: Hoyer lift
Electronic Health Record (EHR): EPIC
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of GG scoring
Personality Fit: Flexible

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
Texas Occupational Therapy License
Degree in Occupational Therapy
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Physical Therapist experience within the last year (0 years of experience acceptable)

Additional Information

Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required; open-toed shoes and not wearing scrubs are unacceptable
