Social Worker (LCSW) – Inpatient Mental Health Unit Location: Trenton, NJ Contract Length: 8 Weeks Schedule: Monday–Friday, No Weekends Shift Options:
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Overview
An inpatient mental health unit in Trenton, NJ is seeking a qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for an 8‑week contract assignment. This role requires strong clinical skills, experience in behavioral health, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Active LCSW licensed in New Jersey
- Active BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical social work experience
- Flu vaccination required
- Ability to work full‑time, Monday through Friday
- Experience in inpatient mental health strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide crisis intervention
- Develop and implement treatment and discharge plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members
- Provide patient and family education
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Compensation
- Travel Pay: $2,963 per week
- Local Rate: $70 per hour
