Engagement Type: Long-Term Supplemental/As-Needed Contract Support
Schedule: Day shifts (as needed) – coverage for staff leave, meetings, and wellness events

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide supplemental clinical coverage at a federal Wellness Center. This role supports day-to-day occupational health services, employee wellness initiatives, and emergency medical response within a professional government healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced ambulatory care setting.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ambulatory and first-aid nursing care to employees and visitors
• Support the delivery of workplace wellness programs and preventive health initiatives
• Respond promptly and effectively to on-site medical emergencies
• Assist in health screenings, immunization clinics, blood drives, and wellness events
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient medical records and documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote workplace health and safety
• Ensure adherence to federal healthcare standards, policies, and HIPAA regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state
• Minimum of 4+ years of clinical nursing experience
• Experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, or similar outpatient settings preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
