Per the Manager - Ability to run Medical Oncology clinic independently, assist with maintaining and engaging in patient treatment plan process, high level patient/phone triage while being a clinical liaison, and ability to provide phlebotomy skills along with port a cath access. Majority of these tasks are not within the scope of a LPN teammate. We will need a RN with Medical Oncology experience to be able to assist. Best Candidate will have experience running Hematology clinic as well as running Breast Clinic. About Facility:Outpatient ClinicAddress: 100 Medical Park Dr., Suite 100, Concord, NC20 Exam Rooms, 10 Physicians, 4 APPsRadius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unitDepartment Information:20 Rooms beds for Hematology/Oncology Avg daily census depends on provider 12-16 patients seen dailyRequired Experience: Oncology RN at least 1 year; 2+ years preferredHighly preferred Clinic experience; will consider acute care with strong experienceWill you accept a first-time traveler? YesPatient Types/Common Diagnoses:Current need will support General Oncology any type of solid tumor, anemiasClinic also has Specialized Physicians who will see and treat benign and malignant cancersRequired License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:RN: BLS requiredOCN certification (preferred)Skills required:EPIC experience (highly preferred); port access, peripheral blood drawsGeneral Assessment/Triage skills are needed for successUnderstanding of how to utilize messaging within EPICSupport within the Department:Charge RN dailyC
