🩺 Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join the Respiratory Therapy team at W. W. Hastings Hospital under the Cherokee Nation. The therapist will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders in a clinical setting.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, including ventilators and diagnostic devices
• Respond to emergency situations, including code blue and rapid response calls
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care, treatments, and disease management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

✅ Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Valid state licensure (as applicable)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (ACLS preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent clinical respiratory therapy experience
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures, equipment, and protocols
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
