Description
Role- ICU RN
We’re seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join a high-acuity 16-bed MICU/SICU in a 300+ bed hospital. Candidates must have Level I or II Trauma Center experience and strong critical care skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in a fast-paced ICU setting
- Care for complex cases including trauma, sepsis, DKA, post-op recovery, COVID, and cardiac patients
- Handle advanced therapies such as CRRT (Prismaflex), ECMO (at times), TTM (Arctic Sun), rotaprone, and 24-hr EEG monitoring
- Assist with and perform bedside procedures (trachs, chest tubes, bronchs, arterial lines)
- Titrate critical drips (pressors, sedation, anti-arrhythmics, Precedex, etc.)
- Interpret telemetry strips and collaborate with multidisciplinary ICU team
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required
