🕑 Mids | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
🕐 5x8 Schedule
Job Details
- First 5 weeks orientation: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No RTO during orientation
- May receive 32 hours during training
- 40-hour rotation after orientation
- Must work every other weekend or weekend doubles
- Can start any weekday with processing completed
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in behavioral health / IDD setting
- Medication administration and treatments
- Care for medically fragile residents
- Collect labs and complete health screenings
- EMR documentation
- Follow care plans and facility policies
- Support RN leadership and train new staff
- Infection control and quality assurance support
Experience Preferred
- Behavioral health experience
- IDD / developmental disability experience
- Skilled nursing background
- Medically fragile patient care
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in structured facility settings
Clinical Skills Preferred
- G-tubes / enteral feedings
- Foley catheter care
- Tracheostomy care
- Basic and advanced LVN nursing skills
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years LVN/LPN experience
- Minimum 1 year in facility setting with higher acuity patients
Required Certifications
✔️ Active Texas LVN/LPN License
✔️ AHA BLS
Additional Requirements
- Drug screen required
- Fingerprinting required
- Must meet immunization requirements
- COVID vaccine required
