Registered Nurse (Emergency Department)
Job Overview
- Work in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) that manages over 100,000 visits annually.
- The ED is a Level I trauma center and treats a diverse patient population.
- Assist with boarder patients.
- Rotating shifts including day, evening, and night.
- Schedule includes floating, weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge per unit needs.
- 36 to 48 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State only.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
- Telemetry experience required.
- Prior travel Emergency Room experience required (not suitable for first-time travelers).
- Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association only)
- ACLS (American Heart Association only)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
