Location: Manhattan, Kansas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Emergency Room care to provide high-quality patient care during the night shift.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kansas
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications:

  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • TNCC
  • MOAB

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Completion of specialty and core competency exams with a minimum passing score of 80%, updated every 3 years.
• Completion of unit-specific checklists and onboarding education attestations.
• Health and safety documentation including:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted)
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (mask required if declined)
  • TB screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA with annual questionnaire; chest X-ray if positive
  • Fit test for respiratory protection, updated annually
  • Health statement or physical exam prior to assignment and annually thereafter
  • 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter
• Background checks including criminal history, employment verification, EPLS, and professional references.
• Driver’s license or state ID matching address requirements.
• Badge photo with specific background requirements.

Additional Notes

• On-site completion of certain trainings and attestations required.
• Some certifications and exams allow only two attempts to pass.
• Documentation must be current and uploaded as required prior to or at onboarding.
• Extensions require updated documentation and confirmation of assignment.
