📍 Location: Akron Campus, Ohio
📅 Contract Duration: May 17, 2026 – August 15, 2026
🕒 Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (On-call required)
 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technician to support a high-volume Operating Room environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across multiple surgical specialties including Orthopedic Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Gynecology, and Urology. This role requires flexibility, precision, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical setting.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterile and ready
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment with accuracy and care
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure smooth procedure flow
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency surgical cases

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
• Hands-on experience in Ortho Trauma, Neuro, Spine, GYN, and Urology surgeries
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
