Certs REQ: ACLS BLS NIHSS Skills REQ: Work Settings: MS/Tele Telemetry Cardiac Telemetry ER Holding Neuro Stepdown PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias Telemetry -on the unit monitoring Telemetry- remote monitoring Use of Rapid Response Teams. Cardiovascular: Post Cardiac Angiogram Post MI Pre/Post Cardiac Cath Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery. Endocrine/Metabolic: IV insulin protocols. Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management: Genitourinary/Renal: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management Renal failure. IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Blood Product Administration Central line care/management Phlebotomy Peripheral Line Care/Management PICC line management Starting IVs. MEDICATIONS: Heparin Protocols Manage Cardiac drips- no titration PCA Procedural Sedation Administration Titrate Cardiac drips. Neurological/Psychiatric: CVA. Orthopedics: Peripheral nerve block catheters Total Joint Replacements. Plastics: Surgical drains. Respiratory: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac External CPAP/BIPAP High Flow Nasal Cannula HFNC Nasal Cannula Oxygen face masks Non-invasive airway management Tracheostomy Management.
