EEG Technologist | Day Shift | West Hollywood, CA | 13 Weeks

Start Date: 05/18/2026
Shift: Day 4x10 (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay: $2196 weekly

 

Role Overview
Seeking an experienced EEG Technologist to perform diagnostic neurophysiology studies including routine EEGs and long-term monitoring. This role supports both adult and pediatric populations across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform EEG hookups, acquisition, and monitoring
  • Operate and troubleshoot EEG equipment (Nihon Kohden, Natus)
  • Identify and correct artifacts by adjusting electrodes and setup
  • Monitor for seizure activity and ensure patient safety
  • Communicate findings and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
  • Support Long Term Monitoring (LTM) and EMU workflows
  • Assist with STAT EEG hook-ups from ICU, NICU, and inpatient units
  • Document and mark EEG data for physician interpretation

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years EEG experience (inpatient required)
  • Experience with adult and pediatric populations
  • Ability to work in ICU, NICU, and EMU settings
  • Strong understanding of EEG acquisition and seizure protocols
  • Ability to recognize and correct artifacts in real time

Required Certifications

  • Active BLS certification
  • Active REEGT credential

Preferred

  • CLTM certification
  • Long-term monitoring (LTM) experience
  • Experience in epilepsy monitoring units (EMU)

Unit Details

  • Covers adult EMU, pediatric EMU, ICU, NICU, and inpatient units
  • Works closely with monitoring services and neurophysiology team
  • May require STAT EEG hook-ups and urgent response coordination
  • Uses Nihon Kohden and Natus systems
  • Must be comfortable with high-acuity neuro diagnostic cases

They were really quick about getting me a contract.

Cons

Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
