Position:Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Jefferson City, Missouri

Duration: 13 Weeks
Job type: Contract

Shift: Nights | 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Weekly Schedule: 36 Hours

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a unique hybrid position supporting multiple healthcare facilities within the same system. This role will primarily be based at one location, with occasional (approximately once per week) coverage at a secondary site. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable working across multiple settings.

Key Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards
Perform assessments, treatments, and monitoring of patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and aerosol medications
Respond to emergency situations and participate in rapid response/code teams
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of RRT experience
Active Missouri Respiratory License
BLS required
ACLS required
NRP required
