Description
✅ Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Active RN License (Texas or Compact State License)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience
- Strong experience in:
- Cardiac catheterization procedures
- Interventional procedures (PCI preferred)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
- Ability to take on-call shifts (mandatory)
⭐ Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- EP (Electrophysiology) experience
- Experience with advanced procedures:
- TAVR
- Watchman
- Impella
- Device implants (PPM, ICD)
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) OR
Cardiovascular Nurse Certification - Experience working with Meditech EMR
🏥 Unit & Work Environment Expectations
- Fast-paced, high-volume Cath Lab (3 procedure rooms)
- Team structure:
- 2 RNs + 2 CV Techs per case
- Exposure to:
- Cath
- PCI
- EP procedures (A-fib, etc.)
- Must be:
- Team-oriented
- Flexible with shift timing (7:00–3:30, may vary)
- Comfortable in high-acuity environment
⏱️ Schedule & Commitment
- 13-week contract
- Day shift (8 hours) – flexibility required
- On-call required (weekdays + weekends for emergencies)
👕 Dress Code
- Scrubs: Royal Blue or Black
