Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Social Worker (MSW/LICSW) to join a dynamic transplant services team. This role focuses on providing psychosocial support and evaluations for liver transplant patients in both outpatient and occasional inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychosocial evaluations for pre- and post-liver transplant patients
• Verify caregivers and support systems via phone assessments
• Manage a caseload of approximately 10 new patients per week
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care plans
• Provide evaluations in outpatient settings, with occasional inpatient support based on department needs

Requirements:

• LICSW preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Active compact license accepted
