• Type: 457-bed Teaching Hospital; Level III Trauma Center
• Radius Rule: Permanent address must be >50 miles from the facility.

Position Details

• Role: RN (Circulate and Monitor only)
• Setting: Blended Lab (Cath, Vascular, EP)
• Primary Focus: Scheduled for 10-hour shifts (0700–1730) in the Vascular Lab.
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week.

Clinical Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Cath Lab. First-time travelers accepted.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• EMR: EPIC (Required).
• Skills:
  • Independence in interventional cases (PE, DVT, EVAR, TAVR, etc.).
  • Titrating pressors and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
  • Sterile technique and strong IV skills.
  • Experience with Merge Hemo, Siemens X-ray, Alaris pumps, and Omnicell.

Scheduling & Logistics

• Shift: 4x10s (0700 start).
• Call: Required; specific frequency discussed during interview.
• Call Back Time: 1 hour for Vascular / 30 minutes for STEMI.
• Holidays: Expected to work 75% of holidays.
• Floating: No floating required.
• Parking: Free.
• Scrubs: Provided by the facility.

Patient Population

• Heavy vascular focus: Lower/upper extremity angiograms, thrombolytics, fistula creation, and carotid stents.
• Cath Lab support: PCI, pericardiocentesis, and radial/femoral access cases when vascular volume is low.
