Description

Job Title- RN - Interventional Radiology
Location-Charlotte, NC 
Shift- 10hr Day Shifts (40 hrs/week)
Contract- 13-Week Contract
Experience: Minimum 1 year; first-time travelers accepted

Facility Highlights

  • Beds: CMC: 874 licensed | LCH: 247 licensed
  • Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital, Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center, Magnet Designated

Department Snapshot

  • Volume: 50-60 patients/day in work-up and recovery
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year; first-time travelers accepted
  • Team Support: Lead tech, modality supervisor, Imaging Manager; diverse experience levels (new grads to veterans)
  • Culture: Strong teamwork, high clinical skills, fast-paced with high acuity
  • No Floating

Patient Population
Adults and pediatrics from ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients across all radiology exams and diagnoses.

Requirements

  • Licenses/Certs: Active RN, BLS, ACLS
  • Skills: Confident in fast-paced, high-acuity settings; strong communication, teamwork, and helpful attitude (specific skills discussed in interview)

Technology

  • EMR: Epic
  • Equipment: iSTAT, POC

Orientation & Scheduling

  • Orientation: Facility/dept tours + 5 flexible departmental days
  • Shifts: Days (per contract); 24/7/365 staffing—fill vacant shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd, weekends as needed)
  • On-Call: Fair rotation with full-time, part-time, PRN, and travelers
  • Weekends: No weekday/weekend rotations—stay on days per contract
  • Holidays: Expected coverage (unless pre-approved off)
  • RTO: Manager approval
  • Perks: Navy blue scrubs | Free parking in multiple decks
