Travel Pediatric Med/Surg RN – Rotating Shifts

 

📍 Minneapolis / St. Paul, Minnesota
📅 Orientation: 6/8 (possible earlier 5/18 class if cleared in time)
📆 13-Week Contract
⏰ 36 Hours/Week
🔄 Rotating Shifts | 3x12 Schedule

 

Shift Details

  • 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Day/Night rotations as needed
  • Every other weekend coverage required
  • Travelers fill schedule gaps based on unit needs

Estimated Weekly Pay

💰 Approx. $2,228 Gross/Week

 

Job Details

  • Float between Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses based on need
  • Float to units as needed
  • RTO accepted
  • Providers may be canceled up to 1.5 hours before shift start

Responsibilities

  • Provide family-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents
  • Complete assessments and develop care plans
  • Medication administration and treatments
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition
  • EMR documentation
  • Support patients and families throughout hospitalization

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience
  • Pediatric experience required
  • Strong acute care background preferred

Required Certifications

✔️ Active Minnesota RN License
✔️ BLS
✔️ PALS or PEARS

 

Additional Requirements

  • COVID vaccine required
  • Booster required if eligible
  • Scrub color: Royal Blue
