Travel Mammography Tech – Variable Shifts
📍 San Marcos, California
📅 Start Date: 5/25
📆 13-Week Contract
⏰ 40 Hours/Week
🕐 Schedule: 2x12 + 2x8
Shift Details
- Variable schedule between 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Scheduled within those hours based on department needs
- No call required
- No floating required
Estimated Weekly Pay
💰 Approx. $3,704 Gross/Week
Job Details
- 1 opening available
- Local travelers accepted
- No RTO preferred
- Up to 3 days max RTO considered
Responsibilities
- Perform screening mammography exams
- Average 20–22 patients per day
- Exams scheduled every 15 minutes
- 1:1 patient care model
- Maintain image quality and patient safety
- EMR documentation
- Provide compassionate patient care and education
Equipment / Experience
- Hologic units
- 2D screening mammography currently
- Transitioning to 3D mammography system-wide
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years Mammography Tech experience
Required Certifications
✔️ California License
✔️ Mammography Certification
Additional Requirements
- All skills checklists must score 3.0+
- COVID vaccine not required
