Description
- Occupational Therapist needed for full-time 26-week contract!
- Shift Info: 9-5:30, 40 hours/week M-F.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
- Occupational Therapist (OT) -KSBHA Required, NBCOT preferred, BLS - must have within first 90 days if not in hand.
- Epic experience preferred, not required.
- Must have experience with and feel comfortable in acute care hospital setting.
- Expected patient load: 7 8 patients per 8 hour shift is 100%, will build up to 100%
- Types of patients expected: gen med, neuro, ortho, cardiac, respiratory, trauma, surgical, ICU, joint replacement. ED pts less common.
- Daily shift tasks: Arrive. Chart review, make schedule, patient care/evals until 12ish. 1245 huddle. 30 minutes of lunch and then again in afternoon. You may be paired up with a PT and probably will for a bit once there is a quick orientation to help with workflow.
