Operating Room (OR) Nurse  Schedule &amp; On-Call Requirements:<ul><li>On-Call Rotation: Shifts vary.</li><li>Monday – Friday: Typically 16-hour on-call coverage (excluding holidays).</li><li>Saturdays &amp; Sundays: 24-hour on-call coverage.</li><li>Reliability: Must have reliable transportation to meet call-back response times.</li></ul>Clinical Scope &amp; Specialties:<ul><li>Core Competencies: Proficiency in General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Spine, Orthopedics, and Urology.</li><li>Specialty Training: Experience in Ophthalmology (Eyes) and Dental is preferred; however, on-site training will be provided for these specialties.</li><li>Independence: Ability to work independently following successful completion of department orientation.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Education/Training: Must have completed AORN 101 training.</li><li>Certification: CNOR (or CAORN equivalent) certification is highly preferred.</li><li>EMR Proficiency: Knowledge of electronic documentation required; experience with Meditech is a plus (on-site training provided).</li><li>Communication: Must be proficient in English (verbal and written).</li><li>Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.</li></ul>
