MRI Technologist – Travel/Contract
📍 Location: Morristown, New Jersey
🏥 Facility: Atlantic Health System – Morristown Medical Center (Outpatient Oncology)
📅 Contract Dates: June 1 – August 29, 2026

Position Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their outpatient oncology imaging team at Morristown Medical Center. This role focuses on delivering high-quality MRI imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Position patients and select appropriate coils based on exam protocols
• Operate MRI equipment and perform scan sequences accurately
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Review images for quality and accuracy
• Enter and manage patient data and imaging details in the system
• Communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff
• Maintain safety standards within the MRI environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Schedule
🕒 40 hours/week
• Wednesday – Friday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No on-call required
Requirements
✔ 1–3 years of MRI experience
✔ Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
✔ NJ State RT License
✔ MRI Certification required
✔ BLS Certification
Skills & Qualifications
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to interpret clinical and technical documents
