Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide nutrition assessment, counseling, and clinical support in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will work closely with patients and care teams to develop and implement individualized nutrition plans that support overall health and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families
- Monitor patient progress and adjust diet plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Support quality improvement and patient care initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food & Nutrition or related field
- Master’s Degree (Required only if exam eligibility began on/after Jan 1, 2024)
- Completion of Dietetic Internship or equivalent
- Must obtain Registered Dietitian (RD) credential within 6 months of residency completion
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Clinical Dietitian
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills
- Familiarity with hospital or healthcare settings
