Location: Denver, CO 80218
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12s | Night Shift
Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Start Date: 05/18/2026
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Denver, Colorado. This position is ideal for a clinically strong RN with experience in intermediate care and telemetry monitoring who can provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.
The RN – Tele will perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with accepted nursing standards and state Board of Nursing regulations. The role includes patient assessment, care planning, implementation of treatment, patient education, and continuous monitoring of patients requiring telemetry and intermediate-level care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing evaluation of patient conditions
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and report changes promptly
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing protocols
- Perform delegated medical functions within scope of practice
- Provide health teaching and counseling to patients and families
- Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of acute care nursing practice
- Experience in telemetry and intermediate care nursing
- Skilled in patient assessment and health data evaluation
- Experience with therapy and treatment planning
- Strong patient education and health counseling skills
- Ability to monitor and evaluate patient progress effectively
- Experience with clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Previous Telemetry RN experience preferred
- Prior experience in intermediate care or step-down settings preferred
Education
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required
- BSN preferred
Certifications & Licensure
- Active State CO RN license in state of practice required
- BLS (AHA) required
- ACLS required
