Description

Encompass Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CVOR Surgical Technologist to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a high-acuity operating room environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience assisting in complex cardiac and vascular surgeries and demonstrate strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain the sterile field for cardiovascular surgical procedures
Assist surgeons during complex CVOR cases, including open heart and vascular surgeries
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow
Handle, organize, and pass surgical instruments and supplies
Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment and technology
Ensure proper sterilization and setup of instruments and equipment
Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards
Participate in preoperative setup and postoperative cleanup
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff
