Description
Registered Nurse - Med Surg
Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM), every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Job Details
- Patient ratio typically 6:1 (sometimes 7:1)
- Unit size: 36 beds
- Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner
- May be asked to float to other units
- Scrub color: Royal Blue
- No call, no block shifts, no 48-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- At least 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Completion of all ALC modules
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
