Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (RT/RCIS)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our interventional team. This role requires advanced technical proficiency in both Cardiac and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures. Prior Cath Lab experience is strictly required for this position.

Required Qualifications & Licenses:

• Licensure: ARRT certification required; New Jersey ARRT license highly prioritized.
• Certification: Must be certified to operate Fluoroscopy equipment.
• Skill Set: Candidates should possess the comprehensive skill set of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).

Technical Requirements:

• Equipment Mastery: Expert knowledge of C-Arm machine operation and routine LEAD maintenance protocols.
• Clinical Proficiency: Proven experience assisting in Cath procedures and PCIs.
• Device Management: Skilled in the insertion and management of Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP).
• IR & Scrub Skills: Ability to scrub for Interventional Radiology procedures, including:
  • Nephrostomy Tube, PICC, and Permacath insertions.
  • Pacemaker insertions.
  • Cerebral Thrombectomy.

Shift & Call Requirements:

• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (0630–1700).
• Call Frequency: Minimum of 9 call shifts per month.
• Weekend Call: 24-hour call coverage required on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Response Time: Must be able to arrive on-site within 30 minutes of being paged.
